Hutsul cheese horse – bar’ańczyk | The Małopolska Virtual Museums

This figurine of a standing horse was formed from hand-kneaded cheese paste. The fraying tail and mane were created by notching the cheese. The harness and saddle with a raised, slightly turned front part are made of cheese rolls and threads. The horse’s tack is decorated with red and green dots painted with aniline paint.
